Thanks to a 1-0 win, FC Twente has qualified for the Turkish Besiktas for the intermediate round of the Europa League. The team of coach Joseph Oosting had to win and was still dependent on results on some other football fields in Europe.
The home team created numerous opportunities, but only took the lead fifteen minutes before time due to a goal from Daan Rots. That goal was enough for a European sequel, it turned out when all the duels were ready. Ajax and AZ also end up in the interim of the second European club tournament.
No place in the top 8
