At almost 40 years old, Luka Modric is looking for a new challenge again and moves to AC Milan to Italy.
As Milan announced on Monday (July 14th, 2025), the Croatian completed the medical check and receives a one -year contract by summer 2026. The contract also contains an option on an extension by 2027.
Modric had played for Real Madrid since 2012 and collected 28 titles with the “royal”. He was also awarded Ballon D’Or in 2018 as the best player.
At the end of the 2024/25 season, his contract had expired at Real, but was extended for the club World Cup. At the end of the tournament, Modric was free of charge.
