AFC Bournemouth’s next million-dollar deal: Milos Kerkez comes from AZ Alkmaar

National player of Hungary

The Eredivisie loses another valuable player: left-back Milos Kerkez (19) is moving from AZ Alkmaar to Premier League club AFC Bournemouth, with whom he has signed a long-term contract, according to the club. The fee is reportedly €17.9m (£15.5m), making Kerkez one of the ten most expensive purchases in the club’s history from the Cherries.

Goals & Highlights by Milos Kerkez (AZ Alkmaar)

The eight-time Hungary international is Bournemouth’s fourth signing after the arrivals of Hamed Junior Traorè (loan on loan), Romain Faivre (loan to Lorient) and Justin Kluivert (on loan). Kerkez is leaving Alkmaar after a year and a half in which he contributed five goals and eight assists in 57 games and increased his market value from €300,000 to €15m. Only Jesper Karlsson (24) is rated higher in the AZ squad.
