AFC and Koninklijke HFC win in the second division

In the second division, AFC won 2-1 against Cossack Boys. Royal HFC also won. Gertjan Tamerus’ team won 2-1 against Spakenburg at home.

AFC took the lead early in the game. Matthijs Jesse scored in the sixth minute. Shortly afterwards, the team from Werkendam came alongside with a goal from Gwaeron Stout. It was in the final stages of the game good old Raily Ignacio who decided the game. He scored the winning goal in the 85th minute.

Koninklijke HFC fell behind in the first half due to a goal by Wimilio Vink. In the second half, the team from Haarlem put things in order with goals from Cas Dijkstra and Niels Springer. The Spakenburgers then pressed on, but keeper Mitchel Michaelis prevented the equalizer with a few beautiful saves.

After three games in the second division, AFC is in second place and Koninklijke HFC is in fourth place.

ADO’20 comes into action on Sunday. The Heemskerkers visit De Treffers.
