Adler appoints Michaela Lenk as Head of Purchasing

The textile retailer Adler Modemärkte AG has filled another key position: on Tuesday the company announced that Michaela Lenk had been appointed Head of Purchasing with immediate effect. The 56-year-old has “extensive experience in the fashion sector,” said Adler. Most recently, she has been managing director of the family business Mode Lenk in Pforzheim since 2015.

In the course of her career, Lenk has worked, among other things, as a consultant for the Swiss retail chain Charles Vögele and as central buyer for the brand and private label business at the Düsseldorf clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg. “In between, Michaela Lenk worked freelance for various companies and also developed her own outdoor collection,” explained Adler.

With the appointment of the new Head of Purchasing, Adler Modemärkte AG has continued its personnel reorganization. The company was taken over last year after insolvency proceedings by the Berlin conglomerate Zeitfracht and has since introduced numerous reforms under the new management.
