The iconic hip-hop star suddenly replaces Adam Lambert, who has passed his gig. Lambert was attached to the festival’s main performer.
– Our annoyance was great when such a cancellation only happened less than two months before the event. We were in a hurry to find a new artist, but we experienced a real kick when we heard that Akon was free. At the same time, this is Akon’s only European gig during the summer.
