Ackermann trumps Hofstetter and Merlier

After 200.9 kilometers between the two Belgian coastal towns, the German was ahead of the Frenchman Hugo Hofstetter and Tim Merlier in the group sprint. The 28-year-old Ackermann succeeds Tim Merlier on the honors list. The edition before that, in 2019, the German was also the fastest. The Bredene Koksijde Classic was canceled in 2020 after the outbreak of the corona pandemic.
