Traffic around Meppel suffered delays this morning due to two collisions. The A28 towards Staphorst was completely closed after the accident, near the Lankhorst junction. The highway has now been reopened.
Someone was injured in the collision, which involved two cars and a truck. Traffic towards Zwolle suffered serious delays due to the accident. According to the ANWB, the extra travel time at one point amounted to about 70 minutes.
Road users on the A32 near Meppel also had to take delays into account. Due to another accident, which also involved a truck, traffic also needed extra travel time there.
