A large traffic jam has arisen on the A28 between Zwolle and Hoogeveen. Accidents have occurred near Staphorst, De Schiphorst and De Wijk, causing major congestion on the highway.
A taxi and a delivery van collided at De Schiphorst. The accident caused significant delays for other road users.
The emergency services were then able to turn out for another three accidents on the same highway. The number of injured is not yet known.
