On the morning of February 1st a truck On the march along a road on the north-west suburbs of Salerno (via Fra ‘Generoso, the continuation of a junction of the A3 motorway) has lost part of the loadsome waste eco -bales weighing about one ton each. One of these objects overwhelmed a group of cyclists which came from the opposite direction. One of the cycloators, a 49 -year -old man, was hit in full and is deceased following the impact. Another of the cyclists of that group was also heavily hit, it was transported to the hospital in very serious conditions. That road connects the highway with the port and the city center, is crossed by several trucks every day. But for its panoramic characteristics (leads to the Amalfi Coast) it is often used by cyclists.
