An accident involving a truck on the A27 before the Hooipolder junction caused major problems in the direction of Breda on Monday morning. Road users must take into account a delay of one and a half hours. The right lane is closed.
According to Rijkswaterstaat, the handling of the accident will take up to ten hours.
Until then, the advice if you want to head towards Breda from the Gorinchem junction is to follow the direction of Nijmegen / Den Bosch / Waalwijk (A15, A2, A59).
A photo shows that at least a truck and a van with a trailer were involved in the accident. The van has left the road. It is unclear what exactly happened and whether there were any injuries.
