An accident happened this afternoon on the A28 at the Hoogeveen junction. That led to a traffic jam at the start of the evening. The road was closed for traffic towards Assen and the connection with the A37.
How many vehicles were involved in the accident is not known. As far as we know, one person was injured. The victim was taken to the hospital.
