In an accident at the intersection of the Asserweg with the Geelbroekerweg in Hooghalen, two people were injured this afternoon.
Around 2.15 pm a motorcyclist and a cyclist collided. The bike was completely broken in half, the motorcyclist fell.
Two ambulances, the police and a trauma helicopter came to provide assistance. Both the cyclist and the motorcyclist were taken to the hospital with an ambulance.
The road is closed. Traffic is temporarily led via the parallel road. The police are investigating how the accident could have happened.
