In the Canadian province of British Columbia, about 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate due to the fierce wildfires ravaging the region. The authorities announced this on Saturday. Some 36,000 other residents were told to prepare for an eventual evacuation, said the province’s emergency minister Bowinn Ma.
