Aaron Carter’s manager slams posthumous releases as ‘heartless greed’

Aaron Carter’s manager Taylor Helgeson has left opposite “Billboard” criticized the posthumous publication of Carter’s works and described this act as “heartless greed”.

The BLACKLISTED album was released two days after the musician’s death, and his book (My Father’s Son): Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life is due out on November 15th.

The musician passed away on Saturday (November 5th).

Taylor Helgeson: “We ask those responsible to remove the above content (…).”

Carter’s manager told Billboard: “It’s really sad that a week after Aaron’s death, a publisher is putting out a book to capitalize on this tragedy without taking the time to verify the veracity of his work. In the few days following the death of our dear friend, we have attempted to grieve and process while also dealing with obscenely disrespectful and unauthorized releases including an album, a single and now apparently a book.”

Helgeson continued: “This is a time for sorrow and reflection, not heartless greed and attention-seeking. We ask those responsible to remove the above content and not to post any more content without the consent of his family, friends and acquaintances.”
