Offerman has been commissioned to succeed left corner player Donny Vink. “That is a very tough task,” says young handball player. “My goal is to run a lot and to score a lot, just like Donny. I don’t know if it will work immediately in the first year, but I’m going to do my best.”
At the end of last season, Offerman was asked whether he wanted to come to the first team of Aalsmeer. “I discussed it at home for a while and then said that I was going to do it. Consulting with the home front was mainly about the availability of the cars. Fortunately, that does not cause any problem.”
No free for training camp
Although Offerman now shares the team, he will not be present at the club’s training internship. His fellow players will leave for Denmark for six days next Tuesday. “I am not allowed to come, since I cannot get free from work. I have indicated it as soon as possible, but unfortunately it was not possible.”
