This weekend, Rijkswaterstaat is testing the technology of the Schiphol Bridge for the last time. From Monday, the bascule bridge, but also the sound and light signals, the broadcasting system and barriers must work flawlessly before the bridge and on the highway.
The highway was already closed for the last two nights to test the Schiphol bridge. Tonight at 8 p.m. the road will close again in both directions, to open again on Monday morning at 5 am. Until that time, the usual diversion applies: from the direction of Utrecht via the A2, A10 and A4. And from the direction Schiphol, the A4, A10 and A2.
