A truck caught fire around half past one on Saturday afternoon on the A67 between Geldrop and Asten. The highway is therefore closed from Eindhoven towards Venlo.
The fire brigade is busy extinguishing the fire around half past one, reports Rijkswaterstaat Traffic Information. It is still unclear how the fire started. It is also unclear until when the road will be closed.
The wrong way on the road towards Venlo is diverted and you have to take the exit at Geldrop. Around one o’clock the closure will cause a fifteen-minute traffic jam on the road towards Venlo.
