One person has died in a collision on the A4 near the border with Belgium. The Zeeland-West Brabant police reported this on X.
The highway is partially closed between the De Markiezaat junction and Zandvliet in Belgium. The viaduct over the A4 in Ossendrecht is also closed.
Road users are diverted via Hazeldonk. They should take a longer travel time into account, according to the police. The roads are expected to remain closed until at least 3 a.m. so that police can investigate. Screens are placed on the road.
