A1 near Eemnes reopened after collision with seven cars, delays are decreasing

An accident involving seven cars at the Eemnes junction on the A1 towards Amsterdam has caused significant delays. The road has now been reopened.

The traffic jam is between the Eemnes junction and Naarden Vesting. ANWB Traffic Information reports on X that no fewer than seven vehicles were involved in the accident. Only the right lane is open. At its peak, the delay was more than 45 minutes.

The road has been reopened and Rijkswaterstaat reports that the delays will decrease quickly.
