Roiniset, a well-known family business located in Hakaniemi’s shopping hall, has had to stop its operations. Roiniset has operated as a deli and importer. It specializes in Italian delicacies.
The company was founded in 1977. You piloted it then Impi Roininen. The business of the store was retail. Over the years, the company experienced several transformations. Since the 1990s, Roiniset Oy focused on the international direction.
Current CEO Jaani Roininen started in 2022.
According to what he said, the delicatessen ran into difficulties. Roiniset Oy applied for corporate restructuring in December last year, but even before that, in November, a sad message appeared on the store’s website.
Dear customers, after much consideration, I have to stop the operation of our store due to the current economic situation and my own health. This decision was not easy, because over the years we have been able to share many tastes and encounters with you, for which I am grateful. Thank you for all these years, the message says.
