A trip to France without leaving Buenos Aires

The lavish building of the Embassy of France in Argentina, located at Cerrito 1399, will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., visitors can visit the luxurious halls of the Ortiz Basualdo Palaceemblematic jewel of architecture Beaux-Arts portuguese designed by Jules Dormal Godet .

The visit to the diplomatic headquarters is free, does not require prior registration and will be subject to the capacity of the place. The proposal is given within the framework of the thirty-ninth European Heritage Day. The first edition of the cultural meeting of the old continent was held in Francein 1984, at the initiative of the then Social Democratic Minister of Culture Jack Lang.
