A total surprise! Kurre Westerlund proposed to Jenna-love

Singer and entrepreneur Kurre Westerlund59, surprised the singer Jenna Välikänkaan, 37, with a proposal. The couple was in Las Vegas on a photo shoot, when in the midst of all the commotion, Kurre suddenly knelt down in front of his beloved.

The couple was filming four different music videos in Las Vegas, one of which is for the couple’s duet songs and three for Westerlund’s solo songs. The filming location was an artificial lake called Lake Las Vegas, from which the mountain ridge opened up to a wonderful sunset view.

– Finally, some pictures were taken. Then, from early evening until sunset, I knelt down and proposed to Jenna, Kurre describes.

The beautiful words uttered at the moment of the proposal will remain between the couple, but with Westerlund, there was emotion in them.

– I immediately got an affirmative answer. I also had the ring ready. I had already acquired it in January in Hong Kong. The situation was very emotional, both of them started crying at the same time.

Westerlund wanted to get a showy ring for his loved one.

– After all, it has such glitter and glitter, he laughs.

Complications on the way

The ring was too big for the betrothed. The couple received a tip from their acquaintances, where they were able to reduce the size of the ring to a movement that has also been seen in 1995 by Martin Scorsese directing Casinoin the movie.

– From there we found a sweet Vegas-style ring for me. I have visited the same jewelry store, among other things Even Elvis. It was a sweet find!

The return journey of the couple who returned to Finland had some twists and turns. They flew from Vegas to Finland via Dallas.

– The plane was in the air for only an hour and it turned back. The captain announced that there is a smell of smoke here. Five hours later we got on the plane again. Then the captain announced that the work shifts were going to be full and it was not possible to go on the trip. All luggage out of the plane and into the hotel room. After a bad night’s sleep, we were finally in Finland after 22 hours, says Kurre.

The couple is planning a wedding for next year, and the party will be raucous, and in their style.

– Frankly speaking, it will be hellishly different compared to a basic wedding! I’m stuffing round ones this year, so it messes up the patterns. That’s why the wedding will go directly to next year, says Westerlund.
