The favorite artist got to peek on the roof of the arena.

The text on the roof of the Veikkaus arena was renewed. Pasi Liesimaa

The multipurpose arena located in Ilmala, Helsinki, finally got a new name this fall. The former Hartwall arena is now known as the Veikkaus arena.

In the fall, however, it was surprising that the old familiar Hartwall arena was still written on the roof of the arena. The matter was revealed, among other things, from aerial photos captured by Iltalehti.

Now things have changed, and my favorite artist was able to prove it Samu Haber. Veikkaus informs that Haber, who emerged from Sunrise Avenue, performed as the first artist in history on the roof of the arena at the end of October.

The hall’s new sponsor name is now written on the roof in large letters.

The Helsinki Hall was opened in the spring of 1997, and it was immediately named the Hartwall Arena. The sponsor’s name was also visible on the roof for more than 20 years.

The empty arena finally got new owners last spring, when a group of Finnish investors bought the arena from the oligarchs.
