The Finn will already fight at the end of January.

Makwan Amirkhani fights again. Roni Lehti

Freelancer Makwan Amirkhani will return to the cage already at the end of January. The Czech-Slovakian organization PML announced on Sunday that Amirkhani will face the Brazilian Diego Santos January 25th.

The match night will be held in Hlohovec, Slovakia.

The information is surprising, because Amirkhani last fought at the end of December in Vantaa at the Ice Cage 3 event. At that time, the former UFC fighter picked up a choke win From Fernando Flores in the triple set. The match was very tight and Flores even came close to knocking out Amirkhan before getting caught in an anaconda choke.

Santos, who will face Amirkhani, has toured different promotions. In my professional career, there have been eight wins, six losses.

Brassi has not shied away from challenges, because last year he competed no less than six times. In October, he was seen in Imatra. Then Ville Mankinen beat Santos already in the first round.

Last week it was reported that Amirkhani is accused of grossly endangering traffic safety. The matter will be heard in the district court of Länsi-Uusimaa on January 16.
