Minced meat has run out of part of the shops. There are access problems throughout Finland, according to the S Group, K-Group and Lidl.
Availability problems mainly apply to beef.
The reason is the consumption of beef minced meat, which has increased in the early part of the year. At the same time, there have been challenges in the production of beef minced meat, telling Iltalehti about grocery store communications.
According to the K-Group, availability problems are not the result of a strike in the field, but there is no more detailed information on production-level challenges.
– We do not have a more accurate estimate of how long availability problems last, says Lidl’s communications.
S Group Market Shop Product Group Director Kim Strömsholm According to their own measures, the shops ensure that customers have minced meat in the store.
The availability challenges of minced meat continue for the time being.
