A shell hit a residential building in Kyiv

A shell hit a residential building on Lobanovsky Avenue in Kyiv, the residents of the house are being evacuated, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Facebook. According to the department, the shell hit the 17-18th floor, there were no victims or injured.

“On February 26, the State Emergency Service received information that a shell hit a multi-storey residential building (17-18th floor) along Lobanovsky Avenue 6 A,” the State Emergency Service said in a statement.

A rocket hit the house, Mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitaliy Klitschko said on his Telegram channel.

“In a residential building on the street. Lobanovsky, 6a was hit by a rocket. Emergency services are on their way there,” he wrote.

The mayor also posted a photo of the building.
