A rare driving mistake from Lewis Hamilton – a delicious fight for the pole position at the Monaco GP

The last practice minutes of the Monaco GP were drowned out by a driving error by Lewis Hamilton.

The last training session promises a really fascinating time trial on the streets of Monaco.

The Principality GP is very often decided even before the start of the actual race. So significant is the time trial that determines the starting order, which will be run today, Saturday, starting at 5:00 p.m.

Based on practice, only the Mercedes duo can be narrowed down from the top drivers out of the fight for pole position. Instead, both Red Bulls, both Ferraris and also Aston Martin at least Fernando Alonso guided are included.

The fastest of the third exercises is Max Verstappenwho left a team mate by Sergio Pérez 0.073 seconds away.

Instead, driving in his hometown Charles Leclerc was not entirely satisfied with his Ferrari.

– We still have to change the car. I have to take my foot off the gas in the pool because it’s not in control at all, Leclerc, who clocked the seventh best time, crashed.

Valtteri Bottas the training pace even promises a place in the last part of the time trial. The Finn was tenth fastest in the last hour, about 0.7 seconds slower than Verstappen.

The last minutes of the class were ruined first by the Haas driver by Kevin Magnussen after stopping his car at the Portier, and immediately when he got out of it he banged Lewis Hamilton Mersunsa to Mirabeau’s wall.
