American professional chef Brooklin Khoury was the victim of a fierce dog attack in November 2020.
A year ago, Khoury told People magazine the gruesome story of how her cousins’ pit bull dog destroyed her face.
Khoury had been teasing the dog, as he often did, but this time the animal had actually attacked him. The woman realized what had happened when she tasted blood in her mouth and saw a detached upper lip on the floor in front of her.
The lip couldn’t be put back on the face in the hospital, so it was completely rebuilt for Khoury.
