“We have never seen a case like this. We have had cases of dogs that have bitten their owners or other people, but not that they have killed their own master”. This is what is confirmed to this newspaper by sources close to a fateful case that has dismayed Nulls. On this Friday night a large adult pitbull ended the life of its owner, only 26 years old, at his home on Calle San Agustín in the town of Castellón.
The causes of the attack are unknown so far and since the Civil Guard, the body in charge of investigating the event, have confirmed that they are pending an autopsy on the victim. The dog has been transferred to the Serproanimal facilities in Vinaros under the custody of the City Council of Nules.
