A new lifepreviews of the last episode, plot February 18th
Matteo (Gabriele Rizzoli) has agreed to be adopted by his uncles Barbara Moser (Anna Favella) and Umberto (Alessandro Tersigni). And Umberto, who had ordered Firas to take a bag with mysterious contents to the landfill, is now in prison. Inside that sack, in fact, there were the bones of Maria Chiesa, daughter of Raul (Kaspar Capparoni), who had disappeared twenty-five years earlier after the fire at the Moser hotel.
Umberto had invented Maria’s escape after the fire, actually hiding the woman’s murder, which occurred well before the fire. This inconvenient truth fuels discussions in the Moser family: if Barbara believes in her husband’s innocence, her mother Floriana (Caterina Vertova) is forced to deal with the evidence. Matteo seeks a normality that has so far been denied him by circumstances. And he gets ever closer to Greta Chiesa.
Asia is the daughter of Maria Chiesa
Meanwhile, a shocking revelation emerges: before meeting Vittoria, Leonardo Moser (Luca Capuano) had had a relationship with Maria Chiesa. Their families hated each otherthey have always hated each other. They continue to hate each other. This is why their story had remained a secret. Twenty-five years later Asia thus discovers that Maria was her mother biological.
A new lifeVittoria is in danger
Meanwhile Vittoria helps Luciana Chiesa (Sara Cardinaletti) to give birth to Diego’s (Francesco Ferdinandi) daughter: it is her job, but at the same time it is her redemption, not only as a doctorbut also as a woman capable of saving lives. In San Martino di Castrozza there are now those who respect her, deservedly so. But the truce, for her, does not last long. Diego finds a decisive element: Maria Chiesa’s diary.
With the knowledge that useful details could emerge from the pages of the diary to solve the mysteries of the past, Diego gives it to Vittoria. Shortly afterwards the two were involved in an accident: their car goes off the road. Marco Premoli (Daniele Pecci) immediately understands that someone has shot at the tires. Vittoria is injured, but survives. For Diego there is nothing to do.

What does the secret room hide?
Released from hospital, Vittoria doesn’t stop. Following clues from the diary, he discovers a hidden passage in the construction site of the old hotel that leads to a secret room. The symbol of the spiral that obsesses Asia stands out on the walls. It is the black heart of the story.
But someone followed her: Vittoria is in danger again. Only Marco’s lightning-fast intervention manages to save her. Together they reconstruct the entire network of complicity and silence that led to Maria’s death and, years later, to that of Leonardo.
Matteo attempts suicide after discovering the truth
When he discovers the truth, Matteo is devastated. The revelation is so serious that it pushes him to take an extreme action. It is his mother who saves him: their indissoluble bond goes beyond his profession as a doctor. The final truth is decidedly painful but Vittoria finally frees herself from the stigma of being a murderer. And next to her, in her real new life, are Marco and her son Matteo.
