A new beginning episode 2 June Canale 5: previews of the plot of the second episode

Maria (Megan Montaner) agreed to marry Manuel Cervantes (Unax Ugalde), but what should be a solution to her economic problems immediately turned into a new prison. Her husband, in fact, hides a tormented past. In the new episode airing tonight Maria appears profoundly changed after what happened in the woods. The experience lived alongside Manuel left a profound mark on her. But, instead of breaking her, it made her stronger and above all determined.

Maria changes her attitude and makes a deal with Manuel

Manuel also immediately notices this transformation, and an agreement is born between the two. It is a fragile and non-definitive compromise, destined to last at least until the debts of the young woman’s family are repaid. It is a silent pact, built more on necessity than on trust, which holds together two people marked each in their own way who found themselves forced to move on the same terrain, despite themselves.

A new beginningLlanos’ body resurfaces from the river: is this the end of Manuel?

Around them, however, the climate continues to worsen. Justa Martinez (Begoña Maestre), in the grip of jealousy, fuels doubts and suspicions which end up influencing Ramón Cervantes (Juanjo Puigcorbé)while relationships with day workers become increasingly tense. The situation worsened when Nicolás suddenly disappears. A flood overwhelms the area and shadows of the past resurface from the river that no one was ready to face. The Guardia Civil finds the lifeless body of Llanos Herrero and the mystery that has long hovered over the Cervantes family takes on dramatic contours.

Alonso seeks an ally in Maria

The country is filled with rumors and suspicions, while during the funeral Alonso (Marc Parejo), the woman’s brother, publicly accuses Manuel of being responsible for her death. Obviously the consequences are immediate: Manuel is immediately arrested. The accusation against him is a very serious one.

In the meantime Alonso approaches Maria with an unexpected proposal. The man wants to convince her to take sides against the Cervantes and to join her fight to obtain justice for her sister. This opens up an extremely delicate phase for Maria in which she will have to consider every possible unknown. Only in this way will he be able, he hopes, to understand who to really trust.
