A Nazi treasure and an ancestor who committed fornication. On public day − also in the Groningen Archives − thousands of sensitive documents will be exposed on the street

Thousands of records with privacy-sensitive information from archives across the country, which were previously not publicly available, have been available to anyone who wants to see them since the beginning of this year. For example, on the traditional and annual public day, the National Archives announced that a real treasure map from the archives of the Nederlands Beheersinstituut indicates the location of a Nazi treasure near Ommeren (municipality of Buren). The unknown cartographer was even so helpful as to indicate the correct place by means of the characteristic ‘X’. However, no one has found it yet.
