A National Football Team, which will host Armenia in Eskişehir on Friday, 8 September in the 5th match of Group D of EURO 2024 European Championship Qualification, continued its preparations with training.
The training under the management of coach Stefan Kuntz at Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities started with warm-up exercises and catching the ball. The training, which continued with a double goal match in a wide and narrow field, ended with a shooting practice.
Orkun Kökçü, who was selected as the best player of the 2022-23 season in the Dutch Eredivisie, was greeted with applause by the technical team and his teammates before the training.
CENK ÖZKAÇAR WORKED OUT OF THE TEAM
Cenk Özkaç, who played in Valencia, one of the Spanish Laliga teams, worked separately from the team. The young defender did a separate run from the team after the warm-ups. On the other hand, Halil Dervişoğlu, who was included in the team instead of Umut Nayir, will join the camp in the evening.
PRESIDENT BÜYÜKEKŞİ FOLLOWED THE TRAINING
Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), followed the last part of the training. After chatting with the players for a short time, Büyükekşi had a long talk with the coach Stefan Kuntz from the side of the field. National Team Manager Hamit Altıntop and members of the TFF board of directors also watched the training of the nationals.
The crescent-star team will complete their preparations with a training session tomorrow morning and go to Eskişehir at 15.00.
