Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım made a call to Fenerbahçe associations and fans. Yıldırım invited the yellow-dark blue team to unite as one and forget the resentments of the past. Here is that statement…
“LET’S BE TOGETHER IN THE COMMUNITY”
“Dear Fenerbahce fans,
I served as manager and president of Fenerbahçe Sports Club for many years. We had good and bad days. We fought great struggles together. We overcame many obstacles together.
We fought together with the enemies of Fenerbahçe. I gave my whole life to Fenerbahçe, the good and the bad, the bitter and the sweet. I loved Fenerbahçe more than anything and I fought for Fenerbahçe more than anything else.
Together with my friends, we founded companies, built facilities and won championships. We may have experienced some resentment while doing these. Now is the time to repair these resentments. As always, I have a conscientious responsibility towards Fenerbahçe fans, who are my companions in difficult times.
Let’s put past resentments aside. Let’s be united in the community. Let’s put our fight and concentration against our opponents as one body, without dividing Fenerbahçe fans. I love all Fenerbahçe fans. I wholeheartedly believe that we will succeed together.”
