The F2F night saw a large number of fighters with a criminal background.
Egzon Ajvaz was supposed to be boxing in the F2F night, but he had to cancel the match. Henri Kärkkäinen
The car was stopped in Varissuo, Turku, when another car swerved in front. Soon, two people with a martial arts background opened the passenger side door of Park’s car. A defenseless man who was wearing seat belts was beaten.
The victim identified the abusers Egzon Ajvaz and by Sebastian Johansson. Ajvaz was supposed to fight in the F2F Event boxing event this fall, but he had to cancel his fight. Johansson, on the other hand, came to the event as a substitute and lost in the boxing ring For Daniel Forsberg.
The events of the abuse extend to the fall of 2021. The case was brought up only in the summer of 2023, and that’s when the proceedings of the district court began.
Both the convicted perpetrators and the victim appealed the district court’s verdict to the Court of Appeal, but the district court’s verdict did not change. The Court of Appeal made its decision on December 4.
Ajvazi was sentenced to three months in prison for assault and illegal threats.
Johansson was convicted of assault and received an eight-month suspended prison sentence from the district court. The Court of Appeal changed the sentence to absolute. However, Johansson will serve his sentence as community service.
Ajvaz’s charge of theft and Johansson’s charge of unlawful threat were dismissed in the district court.
In addition, both convicts had to pay compensation to the lawyers, the state and the victim. The compensation the victim receives for the pain and suffering caused is 1,000 euros.
The messages matched
Egzon Ajvaz has an extensive criminal history. Henri Kärkkäinen
A third, “masked” person who was with Ajvaz and Johansson was also involved in the incident, who described the situation. However, the victim did not want to reveal the identity of the masked man and had said that he had agreed on the matter with him.
The beating lasted for about a minute. The witness who was the driver in the car did not identify the perpetrators, while the victim named the perpetrators immediately during the preliminary investigation. Both Johansson and Ajvazi denied committing the crimes and denied being in Varissuo at the time of the incident.
However, Ajvazi said that he knew the victim of the abuse, who he said belonged to the “underworld”. In addition, Ajvazi himself said that he had received threats and that he had been promised.
However, Ajvazi had sent the victim a message on social media in November, in which he presented a counter-threat.
– Greetings to person X [nimi sensuroitu] when you offer vakkel jengil 500e, I’ll come and fuck your whore mother for free [––] Nothing happened to you that will happen to that whore fucking dwarf Santa Claus [––] I’ll make her lips the same as mine…
Ajvazi justified his messages by saying that the threats against him and his family members had become so serious.
According to the district court, the message sent by Ajvaz strongly supported the suspected abuse. In addition, Ajvazin had sent a message the day after the beating, in which he admitted that he had been in Varissuo.
Brother captured
The contestants of the F2F night have been exposed to crimes before and after the event.
Brother of Egzon Ajvaz Agon Ajvaziwho was also supposed to take part in the F2F event, has been imprisoned for more than a month.
The police have suspected Agon Ajvazi of, among other things, two basic forms of rape and one aggravated rape. The deadline for the latter is August 19 of the current year.
Less than a week later, Ajvazi received a verdict from the District Court of Varsinais-Suomen for abusing her child.
Neither Ajvaz’s ice rink matches ever materialized.
Egzon Ajvaz has previous convictions for, among other things, assaults, drug crimes, deprivation of liberty, drunk driving and a minor firearms offense.
Johansson also has a previous criminal record. He came to the F2F evening so late that his criminal background was not covered in Iltalehti’s article, which told about the contestants’ criminal history.
Seen in the main match of the F2F Event Jere Karalahti was arrested on suspicion of probable cause two days after the boxing night. Karalahti is suspected of being involved in a drug ring. Karalahti has denied having committed any crimes.
