A lot of residential towers and public buildings ready for Ostend heating network

About 16 kilometers of pipe network has been laid for this purpose, from the incinerator to the city center. Everything is ready in the Hazegras district to make heating more sustainable and cheaper this winter. Not only older city buildings, but also new towers, for example, are connected to the heat network. That heat comes from the incinerator in Zandvoorde. It can be up to 15 percent cheaper for consumers to heat with this more sustainable source.
