They will come together in a charity match for Ersen Martin, who is receiving treatment.
The players of the two teams, who met in the Turkey-Switzerland match played on June 11, 2008, in the 2008 European Football Championship (EURO 2008), which witnessed one of the greatest successes in the history of Turkish Football, faced each other in a charity match after 15 years.
There were extremely beautiful scenes in the match played in Lausanne, Switzerland last Saturday, with all proceeds going to the earthquake victims. Players from both teams walked onto the field, hand in hand, arm in arm. Members of the Swiss search and rescue team who participated in the search and rescue efforts in Turkey after the earthquakes on February 6 were invited to the field and honored. After the ceremony, the teams drew 2-2 in the friendly match and left the field, again accompanied by applause.

In this match, the place and date of which will be determined later, two teams will face each other under the leadership of Emre Belözoğlu and Arda Turan. Belözoğlu will form a squad consisting of old and new players of Fenerbahçe, for whom he played and captained for many years.
