The British royal family has not been without tension, and Prince Andrew has not been left out.
Royal expert Gareth Russell explains for the Express magazine that King Charles is still frustrated by the actions – or inaction – of his brother Prince Andrew. Another source of frustration is the veil of secrecy surrounding Prince Andrew’s financial situation.
Prince Andrew inhabits the expensive Royal Lodge. Charles has wanted to evict Andrew for a long time, but Andrew won’t budge.
According to the expert, Charles has made clear his proposal that Andrew move to the smaller Frogmore Cottage, which is the former home of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, among others.
There are not enough funds
Prince Andrew signed a 75-year lease for the 30-room Royal Lodge in 2003. According to media reports, Andrew has spent millions of euros to maintain the house over the past twenty years, and the costs would only increase in the future.
Royal Lodge suffers from mold and structural damage.
It has been reported that Andrew cannot afford the maintenance costs of the mansion at the moment either.

It is believed that the Royal Lodge’s security bill alone is several million euros per year. Andrew does not receive a government grant (Sovereign Grant). It is not known how much Andrew inherited from his late mother, Queen Elizabeth.
Andrew gets a Navy pension. In the past, Andrew has at least received money from his real estate deals.
Moments of resolution?
An expert recently issued a warning to Prince Andrew: he could become seriously ill if he stays in the dilapidated Royal Lodge without renovating it.
Fresh photos showed many of the property’s problems, including mold and cracks.
Property guru by Terry Fisher problems must be addressed immediately.
– If Andrew doesn’t take care of visible mold and structural cracks soon, it could lead to far-reaching consequences. If left untreated, moisture and mold can cause serious health problems and even affect the habitability of certain areas, Fisher said.
