Elon Musk has been harshly criticized for the use of monkeys in his company Neuralink
Plus, the company isn’t delivering great results for Musk.
PETA, the mythical association for animal rights, wants Elon Musk’s Neuralink company to stop operating and using apes for its harsh practices and experiments. They have also requested via Twitter, which also belongs to Musk.
A representative of the most famous animal rights organization in the world says that “Neuralink and the University of California-Davis are responsible for the deaths of at least 15 monkeys because Elon Musk wants to put a chip in people’s brains.”
PETA says this kind of experimentation is marked by at least another two decades at other companies. But they have wanted to make it clear that Neuralink far exceeds the figures of these experimentation companies. According to TMZ, the company added that “Experimenting and killing animals is never good science, and the monkeys in Musk’s experiments have died for reasons that have nothing to do with the experiment itself. The laboratory should be closed.”
On Peta’s part, the solution is clear, that a United States government inspector attend to determine if the country’s animal protection laws are being violated. However, little is known on the matter.
