Architect Samppa Lappalainen and sexual advisor Jenni Janakka will be seen this spring on Race Across the World Finland.

Last year, the couple again threw themselves into a joint adventure. However, this was done while the television cameras photographed, so they will be seen Race Across the World English in the second season of the program.

After watching the first season of the program, it was made sure that the couple wanted to enter the competition. Janakka says that he has not yet refused to have a single adventure that Lappalainen has asked for him.
Have a compact coexistence
The friends of Janaka and Lappalainen once decided on the wine glasses that Jenn and Sampa had to go to a date.
– Both received a short information package and phone numbers, then a date was agreed, Janakka explains.
The first date came in June 2023. It was 14 day at 9 pm, remembers the thirst carefully.
-I spontaneously went to other dating, Lappalainen says.
And not long when the couple already spent a close cohabitation. Lappalainen says that in practice Janakka had moved to her and her daughter as early as July.
– When you asked your teen in September that Jenni could change us, the teenager replied that “what, it has lived here since July,” Janakka recalls to her spouse.
In September 2023, the couple became engaged at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada Desert in the United States. The rings were made at first cable ties.
In one of the desert, camping also trained a couple of well -to -go through Europe. The nature of the program is that the journey is folded without smart devices, so you can only use a traditional map and helpful locals to navigate.
Hidden skills
Janakka says he is good to navigate in cities. Lappalainen, on the other hand, has studied position drawings and location diagrams as an architect and has acted as a taxi driver at a time when there were no navigators.
– I can reveal that I may be a little fascinated by Sampa’s encrypted language skills, Janakka says.

– I can reveal that Jenni was pretty easy to charm with them. They weren’t very double now, Lappalainen says.
There was no common sky for roses. The couple says that there were also bad luck on the trip.
– The special experience was when I no longer had the kind of help in this group I would have liked. It was a tough place to be completely Jenn’s help, Lappalainen reveals.
– An unfortunate thing happened on the way and Samppa was so to speak for a while, Janakka continues, but there is no more events at this stage.
However, he also sensed that Lappalainen had a tough place to play the role of a beneficiary.
– It was easy for me to show that Samppa is important and of course I was driving. Personally, if I had been in the same situation, I would have found it completely unbearable, Janakka comments.

Before the trip, there was also a discussion of the couple’s practices. Lappalainen considered it useful that at least a certain issue would be dealt with in advance.
– Jenni always announces that he is “hundreds of certain” for something and then refuses to negotiate it. In anticipation that one may be in situations where there is not necessarily a certainty and one should be able to discuss, Lappalainen says.
Janakka admits to being a more sudden player, while Lappalainen is happy to consider the options longer.
– A little Jenni pulled the pea in the nose when I took this, Lappalainen laughs.
However, Janakka now remembers to take a breath and let Lappalainen think in peace if the final solution does not come right away.
After a couple of months, the couple, who has been engaged in their first meeting, has not yet danced their wedding. When will the wedding be celebrated?
-It’s such a difficult thing that next year they both fill the round: I 40 and Samppa 50. Some would say that lovely, organize a 90th anniversary and wedding, bad idea, thirsty immediately crows.
– I want my forties to be in the center of all the attention, at that point I don’t share my attention, Janakka says he has decided.
According to the couple, big parties and wonderful friends are coming for next year, but they will not tell you more about the time of their wedding party.
