The Finnish Hot Rod Association (FHRA) reports that one competitor has died in Kauhava’s acceleration times.
The accident happened in a racing between two motorcycles. The competitor lost control of his car straight and derailed through another track to the adjacent field. The journey ended with fatal consequences as the competitor was thrown into the air from the back of his bike.
The event at Kauhava LSK Business Park has been suspended due to the death.
The investigation of the event is underway, with FHRA in cooperation with the authorities.
