The French pie classic quiche Lorraine is the most excellent food in all its simplicity.

Classic pie is irresistibly good. And it is suitable for lunch, evening snack and picnic lunch.

Quiche Lorraine

Dough:

100 g of butter

1 egg

1 tablespoon of milk

1 teaspoon of sugar

3½ dl wheat flour

Filling:

200 g of smoked pork flank

4 dl whipped cream

4 eggs

2 teaspoons of nutmeg

1 teaspoon of salt

black pepper

3 tablespoons of chopped parsley

1. Mix butter, egg, milk and sugar in a food processor. Add flour a little at a time until the dough is firm. Let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees on low heat. Roll the dough into a disk and press into a large pie pan. Cut the dough along the edges.

3. Dice the pork flank and sprinkle over the dough. Beat the cream and eggs, season with nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Add parsley.

4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and place the pan on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the egg mixture sets. Allow to cool before serving.
