According to a recent study, the majority of Finns drink coffee to their heart’s content, regardless of the price. Willingness to pay increased especially in one age group. In the older age groups, special offers are available. A survey by Fredman, a Finnish manufacturer of filter bags, says that Finns are used to the current price level of coffee. In all age groups, the willingness to pay more for coffee increased by 5–10 percentage points compared to a year ago. The clearest increase in willingness to pay was among 18–24-year-olds. 77 percent of all respondents drink the amount of coffee they want, whatever they pay.
