Sunday 30.4. The Buccaneers said in a release that Barrett’s daughter had passed away. He had drowned in the swimming pool.
– Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordan’s and to the entire Barrett family during this incredibly difficult time. While words can offer no real comfort at a time like this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process the loss of their beloved Arrayah.
According to the police, Arrayah was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning. Rescue measures did not help, and the child was declared dead.
The investigation is still ongoing, and so far it is not known what led to the accident. According to the police’s preliminary investigations, there is nothing suspicious about the circumstances.
Barrett and his wife Jordanna are dealing with grief along with their three other children. The ages of the older children are 11, 9 and 8.
