Franziska Preuss is the new biathlon queen. The German ski hunter can look back on the most successful season of her career so far. An Olympic champion is enthusiastic.
Franziska Preuss has secured the large crystal ball in the biathlon in a heartbeat final. After the final mass start in Oslo, just 20 points was the lead over the French Lou JeanMonnot.
Both athletes had delivered a gripping duel on the final round. JeanMonnot fell unhappily, so Preuss won the last race of the World Cup winter.
The former ski hunter Mona Brorsson named Preuss in a look at the IBU International Biathlon Association when she was asked about the most impressive performance at the shooting range and on the route.
