Every human being makes history in itself and generalizing is always dangerous. However, if we never tried to identify general trends, we would only do gossip.

It seems to me that on average women tend to take things more seriously, that they are less capable of abstraction, and this perhaps limits for example their sense of humor (with the exceptions that confirm the rule), but makes them more capable of solving problems, dealing with practical issues.

It is no coincidence that women all over the world are showing great talent for politics. Is there any politician who marked the European history of the last half century? Two women come to mind: Margareth Thatcher and Angela Merkel.
