Actor Kiti Kokkonen and musician Olavi Tikka have been together for 15 years.
One long hug revealed everything.
Musician, Mr. Hevisauri, too, Olavi “Olli” Tikka still remembers how he acted in the first Hevisaurusin a musical in 2010. In one scene, he had to cuddle Kiti Kokkonen the character acting.
The scene lasted and lasted; It felt like time had stopped.
– I hugged so hard that his character’s lashes got stuck in my suit, Olavi laughs.

He had talked to his big sister in advance on the phone about his feelings for Kit. When her sister had seen a hugging scene, she called Olav.
– My sister said it wasn’t hard to guess who I was in love. According to my sister, it was visible to the back row.
Remembering the scene still makes the duo laugh like the newly -lined. That moment will soon be 15 years old.
In the early stages of the relationship, Kiti wanted to be involved in the gigs of Hevisaurus. The enthusiasm took power.
– Olavi was so sensitive for a long time that he couldn’t say how heavy it was for him. After the gig, when Olavi was broken and wanted to rest, I asked, “What would we do? Was we going to eat?”
The two learned through the heel to give each other space.
Today, the couple lives in a wooden house in Espoo. The family belongs to Olav Sofia-The daughter who is 18 years old. Recently, two newcomers have come to the house, Rescue cats Aimo and Lilja.
-We were thinking about getting a new cat for a long time when our mini-cat died. We couldn’t because it was still a sore place, Olavi says.
– We are really cat -riding and now we’re building an outdoor garden for them, Kiti says excitedly.

Childish
Maintaining children’s culture is a matter of heart for Kit and Olav. Kit is known for the Tanhupallo character, which entertains with his insightful observations. Olavi has been involved in the Hevisaurus band playing rock music since 2009.
– We are both childish, imagination is free and we have no limits. Olav also gets the funniest stuff, I think about the whole thing and the drama curve.
My own uncertainties have also had to be worked on.
– If I write a sketch and I don’t like it, I secretly hurt it. It’s really hard for me to take criticism in writing. In cooperation between Olav and me, I have learned to better tolerate criticism and not take it myself, Kit admits.
– We have a similar sense of humor with Kit. It carries far, Olavi inches.

At times, Kit seems to not be valued for children and young people.
– It is more neglected than that of adults. Children’s performances need to keep prices low to see people. For theaters, this brings the challenge to produce performances.
Lack of appreciation is also reflected in children’s music. In 2023, the Music Producers’ Association announced that it would take a break to reward children’s music makers at the Emma Gala. The reason was that so little music had been published in the genre.
Olavi regrets the decision, the appreciation of the authors would be very important for him.
In one stage
Soon the couple will be seen again on stage when their premiere gets Yacht museum. The two have been working on the script with Ella Pyhältö since last spring.
The trio also plays on stage, and Kit has planned the staging. He is also an artistic director of the Finnish Comedy Theater. Kit admits that sometimes it is difficult to leave jobs.
– I don’t have a daily rhythm. I often work until two or three at night.
-I have driven myself to the point that I do not divorce my work and my free time. I have to do clay work to get rid of work ideas.
Olavi says she enjoys routines. Everyday life is filled with exercise, for performing in Mr. Hevisaurus’ heavy outfit is a physically tough performance.
– At least three days a week I have to move. I go to the gym or for a walk. After the gigs, I hold three rest days and then it all starts from scratch.

According to the couple, a significant resource is good discussion skills. Olavi remembers how they talked to Kit for hours before they were even in a relationship.
– Through Olav I have learned to calm down. I have a lively imagination and it has been difficult to trust people in a relationship. Before, I may have called in the morning and in the evening when the other is at work. Today, I know we think of each other and know everything is fine, Kiti says.
– I also feel that I am completely real to you, Olavi replies.
