Selma came from Denmark to the sea aquarium in Bergen aan Zee in 2016. She was one of the first seals there. Two years later, Tjark followed. The animals were having a good time there. But now it was time to move.

“We are going to miss them very much, but this is just the best for the animals and therefore the best for us,” says owner Mick Majewski of the sea aquarium, “we wanted to expand ourselves, but because of our location at the vulnerable dune area that was not possible. And then there turned out to be a brand new stay here. We are all happy that it all succeeded.”
