The 64-time Kenyan international Victor Wanyama found a new club around four months after his end of the contract at CF Montreal-in the Scottish championship. The 33 -year -old midfielder, who once played for Tottenham Hotspur and FC Southampton in the Premier League, signed a contract until the end of the season at the Dunfermline Athletic FC, as he announced.
Celtic-icon Neil Lennon, who trained Wanyama in Glasgow between 2011 and 2013, is a coach at Dunfermine. In 91 games under the Northern Irish, the sixth place and nine templates scored 13 goals and nine templates, he won two championships and the trophy. Ultimately, he recommended himself for a 14.5 million euro transfer to Southampton, the almost the same sum paid in 2016 Tottenham. Wanyama is the most expensive Kenyan in football history (for statistics).
